    Radon Inspections

The continuous radon monitor used by Moore Home Inspection Services is the most accurate and reliable radon measurement device used today.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has affirmed that continuous radon monitors provide accurate results in radon measurement, even at very low levels. The EPA Protocols require that continuous monitors require skilled operators, duplicate measurements every 10th test to insure precision, annual calibration, and bi-annual cross-checks. Continuous radon monitors are precision instruments that serve as the yardstick against which all other radon devices are measured. All Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Protocols are strictly adhered to and documented.

Radon measurement devices should include features capable of determining whether or not the testing process has been compromised—to determine, for example, if "closed house" conditions were maintained throughout the duration of the testing period. The continuous radon monitors maintained by Moore Home Inspection Services contain the most sophisticated technology in radon test tampering resistance.

Accurate and reliable radon measurement devices protect against downstream liabilities for real estate professionals, and ensure the safety and protection of home buyers. According to the Radiation VI (BEIR VI) Report between 15,000 and 22,000 estimated deaths are attributed to radon each year. Protect yourself with Moore Home Inspection continuous radon monitor testing, using one of the most accurate and reliable radon measurement device used today!

    EDR Neighborhood Environmental Reports

Environmental Data Resources, Inc. is the recognized leader in providing detailed neighborhood and site analysis of environmental concerns.  An EDR Neighborhood Environmental Report is now available through Moore Home Inspection Services.  This report goes above and beyond the structure itself and gives you the peace of mind of knowing your new neighborhood has been fully evaluated for environmental hazards.  The EDR Neighborhood Environmental Report identifies potential environmental risks such as leaking underground tanks, landfills and toxic waste sites on or near a property that may threaten a family’s health or the value of their investment. It is generated from the largest collection of local, state and federal hazard records in the U.S. by the country’s most trusted source of environmental risk information.
