History
Moore Home Inspection Services was founded in 2002 by President and Lead Inspector, Emmitt Moore. Since then, the company has experienced exceptional growth in the areas of sales, web presence, client development and inspector training and education.
Education & Background
Mr. Moore has the training and experience to provide a complete inspection of your dream home. He has successfully completed the Home Inspector training course through Harcourt Learning Direct as well as nine modules of the ASHI@Home Training System (approximately 180 hours). He has also passed the National Home Inspectors Examination and the Standards of Practice/Code of Ethics Examination as offered by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). He has also successfully completed a course in Radon measurement through the Center for Environmental Research and Technology,Inc (CERTI) and is certified by Environmental Data Resources (EDR) to provide neighborhood environmental reports. Mr. Moore is a full ASHI certified member and performs hundreds of inspections each year. Mr. Moore’s career background consists of a long history of successful business ownership as well as work in residential rehab – all of which has been in the local St. Louis area.
Association Memberships
Mr. Moore’s industry association memberships include ASHI (both the national association and the local St. Louis Chapter). Mr. Moore is also a certified National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) radon measurement provider. The company also maintains local affiliate memberships with the St. Louis Association of Realtors (SLAR) and the St. Louis Association of Real Estate Professionals (SLAREP). As part of these affiliate memberships, Moore Home Inspection Services is also equipped with an electronic Supra Key for making access to inspection properties more convenient for our clients. The company is also a member of the Better Business Bureau.

Our inspection report is detailed, easy to understand and includes digital photographs of any problem areas which may need to be carefully reviewed. Reports can be delivered by e-mail, fax or delivered in hard copy within twenty-four hours of the inspection. We are flexible with our scheduling to meet the busy life styles of today.
